Christmas at our Cafe-by-the-Lake

Enjoy a moment with family and friends over a Bird Friendly® coffee this season. Take a moment to treat yourself to an organic latté and a homemade breakfast cookie while planning your day.

Sip, enjoy and consider the gift of simple pleasures for those around you: delicious Rainforest Alliance certified heirloom chocolate; heavenly boutique coffee roasted to perfection; beautiful hand made Egyptian glass ornaments; gorgeous hand painted ceramic travel mugs; moving music from our neigbours; gift certificates for weeks of lattés to come; or perhaps a gift basket assembled with love.

Take a moment with us and simplify Christmas.

India Bhadra

We are now offering our first coffee from India! It originates from a shaded coffee estate near the Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary. The coffee is balanced with lasting interest from aroma to cup with distinct malt and caramel. more

Annual Christmas Tree Lighting

We held our annual Christmas Tree Lighting in the newly expanded Amos Waites Park beside the cafe on December 6th. It was deLIGHTful! The lights will be on through Chistmas week. We put some pictures up on facebook.

Winter Bird Walks

Keep your eyes on the CCFEW Bird Walks page for winter Bird Walk dates. The mouth of the Humber River is a favourite for winter birding and walks will be scheduled through the winter months. Sponsored by Birds and Beans.
